YOUR ROLE...

  • Develop the idea.
  • Provide seminar content and course materials.
  • Cover the cost of the seminar site and marketing expenses which vary depending on the type of seminar you would like to offer.

WE WILL...

  • Assist you in choosing a "hot" topic, selecting faculty and organizing course materials.
  • Design, print and mail a brochure advertising the seminar to 25,000-50,000 targeted potential atttendees, nationally or regionally, as determined by our marketing strategy meeting.
  • Insert brochures into our national and regional publications.
  • Provide additional brochures for your firm's in-house mailing list.
  • List your program on our Web site.
  • Provide CLE credits for participating firm members and attendees.
  • Select a seminar venue, with your approval, and negotiate a contract for space.
  • Handle all aspects of the registration process.
  • Provide on-site registration and program management.
  • Handle all food and beverage arrangements (from continental breakfast through cocktail receptions and formal dinners).
  • Order all necessary audiovisual equipment.
Customized Seminar Pricing
Customized seminar pricing varies, depending on factors such as the amount and scope of work involved. Clients are responsible for management fees, hotel costs and promotion costs. All registration revenue collected will be applied toward hotel and promotion costs. The prices listed below are guidelines:

Management Fees
For programs held in New York City:

  • Breakfast program: $15,000
  • Lunch program: $15,000
  • One-Day program: $20,000
  • Two-Day program: $30,000

For all programs held outside New York City, add $3,500.

Hotel Costs
Hotel costs will vary, based on the number of attendees. The figures below are based on 80 attendees.

  • Breakfast program: $6,000-$7,000
  • Lunch program: $7,500-$9,000
  • One-Day program with lunch: $18,000
  • One-Day program without lunch: $12,000
  • Two-Day program with one lunch: $22,000
  • Two-Day program without lunch: $16,000

Promotion Costs
Promotion costs will vary, based on the type of brochure produced and the number of pieces mailed. Two examples are listed below:

  • Four-panel, four-color glossy brochure mailed to an audience of 40,000, plus 40,000 pieces inserted in American Lawyer Media publications: $24,000
  • Letter mailing with fax-back to 20,000 people, plus 20,000 pieces inserted in ALM publications: $12,000

The client will not be charged for any advertisements of the event appearing in ALM publications. Depending on the program and its location, advertisements may appear in the New York Law Journal, The National Law Journal, The American Lawyer, Corporate Counsel and other regional newspapers.
